With the shipment, ARYC has fulfilled a $10,000 purchase order. Arrayit has accelerated manufacturing of its India Genome Test Kits in order to meet with the growing DNA testing market in India.
Back in June this year, Arrayit and DHK Medical Products had signed a three-year Exclusive Distributorship Agreement to sell Arrayit Genome Test Kits in India through a planned and expanding national network of 800 American Medical Center (AMC) facilities staffed with medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other highly trained personnel to administer the tests, interpret patient results and suggest dietary and lifestyle changes and other treatment options.
DHK Medical Products expects to sell 25,000 genomic tests in the first year of the three-year contract. Sales are expected to increase to 50,000 genomic tests in the second year, and 100,000 genomic tests in the third year of the contract. Cumulative revenue to Arrayit from the sales are expected to be $16.8 million, with earnings expected to exceed $5 million.
