Black Friday is looking very red, white and blue for one American business this year. While retailers have their fingers crossed, hoping they make their year with a big day-after-Thanksgiving, SuperCamp, the nation's leading academic summer camp program, is already well ahead of pace for summer 2010 enrollments.
"We believe that the early enrollments for 2010 are a function of parents realizing that their biggest priority is to take steps to ensure their kids' success in school and in life," said SuperCamp president, Bobbi DePorter. "For example, our teen summer camps help students prepare for college with college-level learning skills and life skills that give them an edge when competing for coveted spots in the best colleges."
Another factor accounting for SuperCamp's pre-Thanksgiving Day success is the fact that the summer education program is being offered in four new locations across the country in 2010 and at a total of nine schools, from Stanford and UCLA in the west to Brown and Wake Forest in the east.
And just like most retailers, SuperCamp is offering its biggest savings of the year during the holiday season. In fact, the academic summer program is offering families that enroll a student now last year's prices, sibling savings and even a bring-a-buddy discount.
Between trips to the mall, parents can learn more about SuperCamp at the company's website or by calling 800-285-3276.
