Severe flooding brought on by heavy rainfall has left at least 77 people dead and several more missing in Saudi Arabia.
Deaths have been reported in the port cities of Jeddah and Rabigh along the Red Sea as well as Mecca as the downpours quickly became raging rivers through the streets, causing houses to collapse and leaving people trapped in cars and buses.
According to the Saudi interior ministry none of the casualties involved those attending the Hajj pilgrimage.
