DNA Test Ordered in Paternity Case Surrounding Daughter of Anna Nicole Smith
Larry Birkhead jumped in celebration after a Bahamian judge rule that Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, the six-month-old daughter of Anna Nicole Smith, will undergo a DNA test to determine the identity of her father.
Birkhead emerged from the courtroom to tell reporters “It's been a good day in court for me.” The former boyfriend of Anna Nicole Smith has been seeking a legal order for a DNA test for over a month to resolve the paternity case.
Howard K. Stern is listed on Dannielynn’s birth certificate as the father but has been less than cooperative when DNA testing has been mentioned. Stern is currently caring for the baby while residing in the Bahamas. The courts have ordered Stern not to leave the country with Dannielynn until a custody ruling is made.
