Wholesale Furniture Brokers Braces for Cyber Monday

Wholesale Furniture Brokers has been preparing the USA and Canada websites for Cyber Monday with a new Cyber Monday sale and improved availability notes for online shoppers. By this time of year, furniture manufacturers that offer products including living room sets, dining room sets, and bedroom furniture, are starting to offer clearance prices as an incentive to reduce their 2009 inventory to make room for their new 2010 collections. "We've made the availability of our products easier to understand to let customers know what is in stock during this busy shopping day," says Matt Holmes, Marketing Manager for Wholesale Furniture. "We are featuring more products that are in stock in our Cyber Monday sale. Some of them are running low on stock, so customers should take advantage of our one day sale and order now before it's too late."

After the Black Friday, Silver Saturday, and Golden Sunday sales, Wholesale Furniture Brokers launched its one day Cyber Monday sale on November 30 with even more products on sale. Many best selling items are now being offered with free shipping to convert more shoppers into buyers. Matt Holmes, Wholesale Furniture Brokers' Marketing Manager, says that customers can expect discount prices on every item and can even call in to see if they qualify for further discounts when they order more than three of the same product or over $5000.

Cyber Monday is on the Monday after Thanksgiving in the USA and is one of the busiest shopping days of the year for online retailers. Holmes says that traffic does slow down during thanksgiving, but then it jumps up on Black Friday and carries through to Cyber Monday. "There are still lots of people shopping for early Christmas deals during this time. Some people don’t like the Black Friday rush, so they tend to shop online to find the deals they want. We are offering our customers another major sale to give them the perfect reason to order on our websites. If they don’t, then they might not be able to get the items that they want in time for Christmas since the items are starting to sell out and become backordered. Customers that still want backordered products can still order them now since their order will be processed in the order it is received," adds Holmes.

Wholesale Furniture Brokers experienced a 62% increase in sales compared to the daily average on Cyber Monday in 2008. Traffic also increased by 31% compared to the monthly average. Cyber Monday had 4% fewer sales than Black Friday last year. This year, Wholesale Furniture Brokers expects a 120% increase in sales compared to the daily average and a 33% increase in traffic compared to the monthly average.

During Cyber Monday in the past, Wholesale Furniture Brokers has experienced inventory problems with their popular manufacturers. "Some of our best selling products started selling out during Cyber Monday last year. Customers need to know that some of the products selling online are from the same manufacturers. When those products sell out on one website, they sell out on all websites. We have been ordering our own inventory on some of our best selling products to avoid this problem again this year," says Holmes.

Customers shopping on the Wholesale Furniture Brokers' websites are encouraged to order as soon as they can to ensure delivery in time for Christmas. "Stock is running out on a number of our best sellers. Customers should be ordering now and we are ready for them. We even have more management available to offer even more discounts on sales. If customers do not order now, they might not get the products they want until early next year," says Holmes.

Newsletters are sent out to customers to inform them of the Cyber Monday sale. A press release and social networking websites are also being used to make sure the sale is communicated to a larger market. "We are putting more time and planning into promoting our sales this year. We want to reach even higher sales records for 2009. At this point in time, we already have more sales compared to last year. I can't wait for the status of the economy to improve," informs Holmes.
