Sports Illustrated has named Derek Jeter sportsman of the Year. Derek Jeter is the first Bronx Bomber to receive the title. The 35 year old is thrilled for the title. Last year’s recipient was Michael Phelps. Other baseball recipients include Sandy Koufax, Cal Ripken Jr. Randy Johnson, and Curt Schilling.
