Finance World News Update by EQUITIES Magazine

Today Constellation Energy announced that it will buy and develop a $140 million Maryland wind project from Clipper Windpower.

Commercial operation for the 70-megawatt Criterion wind project will generate enough electricity to power 23,000 households annually.

The purchase, which includes 28 of Clipper’s 2.5 megawatt Liberty wind turbines and project costs, is one of several clean energy initiatives that Constellation is planning for the state.
