Jake Delhomme suffers from a fractured finger

Carolina Panthers Jake Delhomme fractured his throwing hand finger.  This injury took place during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game when they lost to the New York Jets.  Matt Moore is rumored to take his place next week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Coach John Fox believes that there was a lack in preparation. “Obviously we didn’t do a good job preparing them.  We weren’t ready to play and that starts with coaching, all the way down to the player’s responsibility.”  We hope that Jake Delhomme has a speedy recovery.
