Electrolux, Kenmore, and Frigidaire Dishwasher Complaints Under Investigation by Class Action Lawyers

The attorneys working with ClassAction.org are investigating potential claims on behalf of consumers who purchased certain models of Electrolux, Kenmore, and Frigidaire dishwashers. Allegations have surfaced that a defective heating element in the dishwashers can burn a hole in the bottom of the machines, resulting in flooding, fires, and property damage.

If you have experienced problems with an Electrolux, Kenmore, or Frigidaire dishwasher, the attorneys working with ClassAction.org would like to hear from you to assist in their investigation. To report problems with your Electrolux, Kenmore, and Frigidaire dishwashers, please visit http://www.classaction.org/electrolux-dishwashers.html today. ClassAction.org is a website dedicated to protecting the rights of consumers and providing information on product recalls and emerging litigation.

According to the allegations, certain models of Electrolux, Kenmore, and Frigidaire dishwashers contain defective heating elements that can warp or sag and thereby come in contact with the plastic tub floor, melting the plastic tub and causing the machines to flood. Specifically, it has been alleged that the two spring clips that hold the heating element in place are insufficient to prevent the dishwashers’ heating components from touching the polymer tub floor, which melts when exposed to high levels of radiant heat. This alleged defect is believed to create an unreasonable risk of burning, flooding, fire, property damage, and personal injury.

Some consumers whose appliances are still under warranty have reported encountering resistance from Electrolux in obtaining a timely and proper remedy from the company. Even though the dishwashers are believed to be covered under applicable warranties, consumers have reportedly been forced to incur the cost of replacing the dishwashers and repairing the related property damage. Electrolux manufactures dishwashers under the Electrolux, Frigidaire, and Kenmore brands.
