Coal Mining Companies Fall in Monday Noon Trading

Several of America’s top coal mining companies dropped in Monday’s afternoon trading.

This is how the following companies fared by noon in trading:

Arch Coal (NYSE: ACI) fell 43 cents, or 2.0 percent, to $20.70.

Consol Energy (NYSE: CNX) fell 32 cents, or 0.7 percent, to $45.57.

Massey Energy (NYSE: MEE) rose 8 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $37.67.

Peabody Energy (NYSE: BTU) fell 14 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $44.42.
