Barrick Gold (NYSE: ABX) rose 22 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $42.76.
Gold Fields (NYSE: GFI) rose 30 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $14.77.
Goldcorp (NYSE: GG) rose 1 cent, or 0.1 percent to $42.45.
Newmont Mining (NYSE: NEM) rose 27 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $53.62.
