Hecla Mining (NYSE: ML) rose 15 cents, or 2.3 percent, to $6.47.
Pan American Silver (NASDAQ: PAAS) rose 2 cents, or 0.1 percent, to $25.22.
Silver Standard (NASDAQ: SSRI) rose 16 cents, or 0.8 percent, to $21.65.
Silver Wheaton (NYSE: SLW) rose 10 cents, or 0.6 percent, to $16.10.
