Oil-Dri reported net sales of $236,245,000 for the fiscal year of 2009. The sales were a 2% increase compared to the $232,3590,000 for the previous year. The net income for the fiscal year 2009 was reported as 6% higher at $9,586,000 compared to the previous year at $9,039,000 for the fiscal year 2008.
Oil-Dri Corporation of America (Oil-Dri) is engaged in developing, manufacturing and marketing sorbent products. The Company’s sorbent products are principally produced from clay minerals and, to a lesser extent, other sorbent materials. Oil-Dri’s sorbent technologies include absorbent and adsorbent products. The Company’s absorbent clay products include Cat’s Pride and Jonny Cat cat litter and other cat litters. It also produces Oil-Dri branded floor absorbents, Agsorb granular agricultural chemical carriers and ConditionAde animal feed binders.
