Pipeline and energy storage company Kinder Morgan (NYSE: KMP) said Monday that it has named Tom Martin president of its natural gas pipeline operations as part of changes it is making in natural gas pipelines group, according to Associated Press.
Martin will oversee about 25,000 miles of pipelines with a transportation capacity of 22 billion cubic feet per day and about 400 billion cubic feet of working gas storage capacity.

Kinder Morgan said Duane Kokinda will succeed Martin as president of the Texas intrastate natural gas pipeline group. The group operates primarily along the Texas Gulf of Mexico coast with more than 6,000 miles of pipeline.
Steven Kean is returning full time to his role as executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Kinder Morgan companies. He had been serving as president of the natural gas pipeline operations.
