The American Cornhole Organization (ACO) is pleased to announce the newest Certified Official to join the team.
Jim Deanda has signed on to promote the growth of ACO Cornhole in the Great Smoky Mountains / Sevier County region in TN. Jim’s focus as an ACO Certified Official will include: coordinating ACO World Ranking Points earning tournaments, selling ACO merchandise and promoting the overall sport of cornhole in his community while raising awareness and money to support the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis.
“American Cornhole is very excited to bring an individual of Jim’s caliber into the ACO Family. We are always looking for new Certified Officials to help us promote the great sport of cornhole around the country,” said Frank Geers, President of American Cornhole, LLC. Jim works for the City of Sevierville, and is one of the founders of Cure Finders, an organization benefiting cystic fibrosis research. Jim, the father of 3 children, 2 with cystic fibrosis, believes he can help promote the growth of ACO Cornhole in his part of the country and raise awareness for CF. “I really enjoy the sport of cornhole and as a long time upper level soccer referee, I think I can keep these guys and girls in line come tournament time! I will be operating my ACO activity under the name ACO Cure Finders. Come, play and enjoy a Smoky Mountain vacation.” said Jim.
