Mike Bibby scored 27 of his 37 points on nine three-pointers and Ron Artest added 24 points and grabbed 9 rebounds to lead the Sacramento Kings (30-40) past the Phoenix Suns (52-17) 107-100.
Sacramento had grabbed a seven point lead at halftime but the Suns came out in the third and quickly cut the lead to three after a pair of three-pointers from Steve Nash and Raja Bell. Amare Stoudemire tied the score 69-69 with a three-point play with 5:16 remaining in the period.
Ron Artest put the Kings back in front with a three-pointer but Phoenix scored the next five points to go up by two. By the end of the third quarter the Suns had bumped their lead to three.
The fourth quarter started with a bucket by Leandro Barbosa and Phoenix was up by five but over the next five minutes it was all Sacramento. After an 11-0 run the Kings were up 88-82 and never trailed again.
Phoenix was to cut the lead to 91-90 with 4:22 left in the game but Francisco Garcia hit a pair of free-throws and Mike Bibby added a three-pointer to push the lead back to six.
Stoudemire led the Suns with 23 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.
