Barrick Gold Corp (NYSE:ABX) Announces Intent to Take $300 Million Charge

Barrick Gold Corp (NYSE:ABX) has announced that it will take a $300 million charge in the fourth quarter of 2009.  The charge is related to the unwinding of the gold hedges.  The company also announced that it expects gold production for 2010 to be at 7.7 million to 8.1 million ounces.
