Donald Trump Fires Olympic Gold Medalist on “The Apprentice”
Olympic gold medalist Angela Ruggiero was fired by Donald Trump on Sunday’s episode of “The Apprentice.”
As project managed for Team Kinetic Ruggiero led an unsuccessful bid to top Team Arrow in a task involving the sale of Universal Studio Hollywood passes. While Team Arrow set up a booth to sell tickets and attracted attention by giving away free water Team Kinetic opted to use roller skates to sell tickets, a bad idea.
After Team Arrow racked up more than seven thousand dollars in sales than Team Kinetic the writing was on the wall.
Trump laid in to Angela for the huge defeat and asked her why they lost so badly. She placed the blame on Nicole for suggesting the roller skating idea but as is often the case the project manager ultimately took the fall.
