Survivor Blood Vs Water Recap: Tadhana Finally Wins Immunity

Tadhana returns to camp still reeling after a shocking turn of events at Tribal Council that sent Culpepper to Redemption Island instead of Ciera. Caleb was responsible for the sudden flip and basically forced Hayden and Vytas in to turning on Culpepper. He tries to smooth it over, but the move destroyed the trust Hayden and Vytas had in him and put a target on his back. The only people happy about it are Ciera and Katie because they see an opportunity to gain an ally in Caleb, therefore dethroning the all guys alliance.

Meanwhile, Candice couldn’t be happier about Culpepper joining her at Redemption Island. She is still holding on to her grudge against him for “shushing” people and turning on her husband John, who is also at Redemption. The following day the trio heads to Redemption Island Arena for a duel. Monica immediately offers to switch places with Culpepper, but he refuses to let her. For the duel, the players must take apart a crate and use the planks to build a bridge. The players must then tear apart their bridge and use the planks to solve a puzzle. John finishes first, leaving Candice and Culpepper to fight for the final spot on Redemption. Culpepper beats Candice by a few seconds. Candice’s redemption reign ends. John chooses to give the hidden immunity idol clue to Monica again, and once again Monica throws it in the fire without opening it.

For the immunity challenge, one person from each tribe must slide down a giant slide, grab a ring, and toss the ring onto a post. The tribe to land five rings on their post first wins immunity and their choice of steaks or fishing gear. Tadhana comes out strong and wins their first immunity challenge, which means Galang must go to their first Tribal Council ever. Tadhana chooses the steaks over fishing gear.

Back at Galang’s camp, Laura B. is worried that she will be voted off because she is a loved one and not a Survivor veteran like the others. The others initially agree that it will be Laura B. that goes to Redemption, but then Aras comes up with a plan to send Laura M. to Redemption because she may be able to beat Culpepper. That would leave Monica without a loved one, which would make her more loyal to Aras after the merge. He successfully convinces the others that this is the best move. Laura M. is completely blindsided at Tribal Council, but she vows to fight to remain in the game.
