Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) Predicts 40% Gas Surge by 2020

Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) predicts that the use of liquefied natural gas will rise up to 40% by 2020.  The company believes that demand for global gas will rise by 20%.  According to Exxon Mobil’s LNG President Tom Cordano, “By 2002 we forecast gas demand to increase by 25% from today’s level to almost 400 billion cubic feet (bcf) a day.”
