Slim Fast Recall Issued for Canned Drinks

Slim Fast has issued a recall for canned drinks due to possible contamination. Unilever United States Inc., the company that produces the diet products, said all ready-to-drink products in cans may have been contaminated with the micro-organism Bacillus cereus.

Bacillus cereus does not pose a serious health risk but may cause diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.

Consumers in possession of the recalled products are asked to throw them away and call (800) 896-9479 for a full refund.
