Silver Companies Drop in Friday Noon Trading

Several of America’s top silver companies drop in Friday’s afternoon trading.

The following companies show a variety of results by noon in trading:

Hecla Mining (NYSE: ML) fell 40 cents, or 5.6 percent, to $6.68.

Pan American Silver (NASDAQ: PAAS) fell $1.79, or 6.7 percent, to $24.95.

Silver Standard (NASDAQ: SSRI) fell 93 cents, or 3.9 percent, to $23.04.

Silver Wheaton (NYSE: SLW) fell 83 cents, or 4.9 percent, to $16.23.
