Gold Companies Fall in Friday Noon Trading

Several of America’s top gold companies moved down in Friday’s afternoon trading.

The following companies all fell by noon in trading:

Barrick Gold (NYSE: ABX) fell $3.88, or 8.3 percent, to $42.96.

Gold Fields (NYSE: GFI) fell 86 cents, or 5.6 percent, to $14.55.

Goldcorp (NYSE: GG) fell $2.52, or 5.6 percent, to $42.63.

Newmont Mining (NYSE: NEM) fell $2.81, or 5.2 percent, to $51.67.
