Russian Nightclub Explosion Kills at least 100, Several More Injured

Fireworks inside a nightclub in Perm, Russia ignited an explosion killing at least 100 people and leaving several more injured.

According to reports there were about 200 people attending a private party at the Lame Horse bar when the explosion occurred. Shortly after the explosion the Russian prosecutor’s office released a statement saying, “We are not talking about an act of terrorism in the Perm cafe, people died as a result of an explosion of fireworks.”

The club had reportedly been celebrating its eighth anniversary.
