Ashton Kutcher to End MTV’s “Punk’d” After Eight Seasons

Asthon Kutcher has had enough of MTV’s popular prank show “Punk’d” and will pull the plug after eight seasons.

Kutcher, 29, has spent the past seven seasons setting up some of Hollywood’s most recognizable names in off the wall practical jokes.

He nearly had Justin Timberlake in tears when the “SexyBack” singer pulled up to his home only to find the IRS confiscating his belongings for failure to pay his taxes. As Timberlake sat on the ground in disbelief he phoned his mother for support. When Kutcher finally appeared to inform Timberlake that he had been punk’d the singer was on the verge of crying.

Kutcher covered everybody in his planned pranks from movie stars and singers to basketball players and television personalities.  Among those nailed by Kutcher and his band of pranksters were: Halle Berry, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Beyonce, Nick Lachey, Lindsay Lohan, Dirk Nowitzki, Kanye West, and Eva Longoria.

Season 8 of “Punk’d” is set for April 10.
