Another round of U.S. Banks fail as the list leads the hot topics at Wall Street Grand

As of Friday a stunning 130 U.S. Banks have failed in the 2009 economic downturn. The recent string of Bank failures reached across the country specifically Ohio, Illinois, Virginia, and three Georgia Banks. Wall Street Grand LLC, a leading Investor newsletter in the small-cap arena, is pleased to share with the investment community and Wall Street Grand Club members market moving news gaining much attention from Wall Street. The following Banks have been added to the “failure” list as of Friday December 4, 2009:

*AmTrust Bank in Cleveland

*Benchmark Bank in Aurora Ill

*Greater Atlantic Bank in Reston, Va

*Buckhead Community Bank in Atlanta, Ga

*First Security National Bank in Norcross, Ga

*The Tattnall Bank in Reisville, Ga

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) covers customer accounts in the case of such failures up to $250,000. Although each bank suffered financial stress causing them to fail in different manners, one thing they each had in common was a lack of capital. Some analysts say this stemmed from failed investments and poor loan losses. There is still three weeks left in the year as Wall Street watches closely how traders will react to the holiday end of year session. The big question Americans have been asking is how inflation will affect your pocket in the coming months?
