Robert Richards has signed on to promote the growth of ACO Cornhole in the North West territory of the United States. Robert’s focus as an ACO Certified Official will include: coordinating ACO World Ranking Points earning tournaments, selling ACO merchandise and promoting the overall sport of cornhole in his community while working to develop a profitable cornhole business for himself.“The North West is fast becoming a hot bed for cornhole, as is evident with the addition of the state of Washington to the ACO. Robert and his wife Amanda’s passion for the sport of cornhole started while living in Virginia, then was carried with them as they set out to start a new life out West. This passion is what makes American Cornhole tick, and makes us excited to welcome them to the ACO Family. We are always looking for new Certified Officials to help us promote the sport of cornhole around the country,” said Frank Geers, President of American Cornhole, LLC.
Robert and Amanda have lived in Edmonds, WA for just short of two years. Amanda, who is a Washington native, works as an electrical engineer at Crane Aerospace & Electronics. She has always been enthusiastic about sports and staying involved in extracurricular activities. This passion of Amanda's is positively doubled by her husband Robert's love for cornhole.
Robert has been playing the game of cornhole for a number of years now. His love of the game started in Virginia. Soon after their move to Washington, they realized a huge opportunity to spread the game of cornhole. "We just want more people in the Edmonds area to know what the game is and come to love playing like we have. We are operating our ACO activities under the name North West Cornhole. Keep a look out for our tournaments and awesome prizes!"
