Last of The Griffin's XXIII Special Edition 2007 cigars will be sold on CigarAuctioneer.com

Bidding starts at $1.00 on all remaining boxes

Beginning at 6:00 AM (ET) on Tuesday, December 8, the last remaining boxes of some classic collectible cigars will sail into cigar history. All of Famous Smoke Shop's remaining boxes of The Griffin's Special Edition XXIII 2007 cigars will be auctioned off on CigarAuctioneer.com at a $1.00 starting bid.

Only 75,000 cigars (7,500 boxes), were produced worldwide for this special edition 5 3/8" by 52 Robusto with an SRP of $100 per box. Presented in boxes of 10 elegant black tubos, the medium-bodied
cigars were blended by Hendrik Kelner using Dominican Piloto Cubano, San Vicente Ligero & Seco, plus Olor longfillers seamlessly rolled in rich-tasting Ecuadorian sun-grown Connecticut wrappers.

The smoke is creamy, earthy, and somewhat woody with herbal and sweet tobacco notes on the finish. Following the tradition of all The Griffin's Special Edition releases, the XXIII is a more full-flavored departure from
The Griffin's main line cigars which are generally milder by comparison.

Cigar collectors will want to get their hands on these rare cigars since, not only will they soon be obsolete, but they also have an extra two years of aging under ideal conditions. Additionally, there's no question as to the exceptional quality of these cigars, and with such a low starting bid, this auction will no doubt create quite a battle.

Cigar smokers interested in placing their bids on
The Griffin's Special Edition XXIII auction, should note that the link will not be active until Tuesday December 8 at 6:00 AM. (ET).
