Mr. Goldman advises that new website was deployed as a much needed replacement for his previous site, which was less user friendly and built using a less robust software platform. Paul states, "Website traffic has increased since deploying the new site. Clients seem to really like the new website and are viewing more pages during their shopping visit. More importantly, our sales conversion rates appear to be on the rise, which tells us that site visitors like the way the new site displays our flower arrangements." Paul went on to say during the interview that he was also seeing an improvement in shopping cart abandonment rates. He seemed to feel that this might be a result of shoppers finding the new one page shopping cart much easier to use than the older multi-page checkout process.
