The Denver Broncos and cornerback Dre Bly have agreed to a $33 million contract that will keep him in the Mile High city for five years.
Bly will be guaranteed $16 million with the remaining sum tied up in bonuses.
The eight-year veteran spent his first four seasons with the St. Louis Rams before joining the Detroit Lions in 2003. Bly was traded by the Lions to the Broncos earlier this month in a deal that sent Tatum Bell to Detroit.
Over his career Bly has totaled 33 interceptions, five of which he returned for touchdowns. Bly has also been featured in the kick return game, totaling eight touchdowns.
Denver is now equipped with two of the premier defensive backs in the game with Bly joining Champ Bailey.
