Gold Companies Drop in Tuesday Noon Trading

Several of America’s top gold companies saw decreases in Tuesday’s afternoon trading.

The following companies all rose by noon in trading:

Barrick Gold (NYSE: ABX) fell $1.21, or 2.9 percent, to $41.23.

Gold Fields (NYSE: GFI) rose 24 cents, or 1.7 percent, to $13.89.

Goldcorp (NYSE: GG) rose 79 cents, or 1.9 percent, to $40.54.

Newmont Mining (NYSE: NEM) rose 61 cents, or 1.2 percent, to $51.22.
