Over 4200 Subscribers Now Participating on the Workamper News Forums

Workamper News is a company that works with RVers who work while they travel - also known as Workampers.  The company provides a bi-monthly magazine and a plethora of interactive web site tools. One of these tools is the Workampers News Forums site.  There has always been a Forums section on www.workamper.com, but some months ago the Forums became its own unique site with a fresh look that includes many new features.

The Workamper News Forums site, http://forums.workamper.com is open for anyone to participate.  The Public Forums is made up of seven different forums, each with a different purpose. The forums include General Workamping and Fulltiming; where topics about RVs and RVing, beginning Workamping and on-the-road situations or questions can be discussed. The Solo Workamping forum is used for solo Workampers to connect or ask questions that deal with the uniqueness of being a solo on the road.

There's a forum for discussion on Hobbies & Interests; where activities like geocaching, reading, knitting, and rock climbing are talked about, along with many shared recipes for delicious meals that can be made in the RV.  A user could also use the RVs for Sale or Want to Buy forum if they're looking to purchase or get rid of a motor home, fifth wheel, travel trailer or tow vehicle.  The Using the Workamper News Web Sites forum is where users can post questions about using the sites or if they have problems with any of the sites made available by Workamper News.

Two private forums are available for use by Workamper News subscribers only.  The two included forums are Workamping and Workamper Experiences.  In the private forums, specifically Workamper Experiences, Workampers post about their experiences and name specific employers. This is a great tool when doing research for a potential employer.

To participate in the Forums, you will need to register and create a user name and password for logging in. Once a user is logged in, they can post new topics or post replies to existing topics. Users can also communicate privately using the Private Message or Email options.  In December, the Forums hit 4,200 registered users.   Jody Anderson, site designer said, "We have taken this site and turned around the online forums from an outdated and difficult to use place at the forums beginning… to a top-of-the line, modern, and very useful tool to be used and enjoyed by everyone."
