Lincoln National Corporation Announce $300 Million Offering of Senior Notes

Lincoln National Corporation (NYSE: LNC) has announced the pricing of an offering of senior notes. A total of $300 million principal amount of 10 year fixed rate senior notes due February 15, 2020, were issued. The coupon rate on the notes is 6.25%.The company plans to use their net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes which would include the repayment of the $250 million floating rate senior notes due on March 12, 2010.
