Agriculture Futures and Livestock Prices are a Mixed Bag

Today on the Chicago Board of Trade, agriculture futures were mixed.

 

Wheat for March delivery fell 3.25 cents to $5.32 a bushel; March corn jumped 2.5 cents to $3.86 a bushel; January soybeans sank 0.5 cent to $10.28 a bushel; and oats for March delivery remained the same at $2.545 a bushel.

 

At the same time, beef and pork futures were also a mixed bag at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

 

February live cattle bumped 0.30 cents to 82.22 cents a pound; January feeder cattle trimmed 0.35 cents to 90.70 cents a pound; February lean hogs dipped 0.77 cents to 64.30 cents a pound; and February pork bellies slid up 0.05 cent to 83.30 cents a pound.
