Silver Companies Fell in Thursday Noon Trading

Several of America’s top silver companies saw slight decreases in Thursday’s afternoon trading.

The following companies show a variety of results by noon in trading:

Hecla Mining (NYSE: ML) rose 8 cents, or 1.2 percent, to $6.64.

Pan American Silver (NASDAQ: PAAS) fell 40 cents, or 1.6 percent, to $25.02.

Silver Standard (NASDAQ: SSRI) fell 93 cents, or 3.9 percent, to $22.93.

Silver Wheaton (NYSE: SLW) fell 4 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $15.33.
