General Electric Co (NYSE:GE) Wins Contract with Caithness Energy LLC

General Electric Co. (NYSE:GE) has won a contract with Caithness Energy LLC to supply wind turbines for what is expected to be the world’s largest wind farm.  The contract is worth $1.4 billion.  338 turbines will be installed at The Shepherds Flat wind Farm in Oregon in 2011 and 2012.
