Rudolph Giuliani Raises $15 Million in First Quarter

Former New York City mayor and current Republican presidential hopeful Rudolph Giuliani has reportedly raised over $15 million in campaign contributions during the first quarter of 2007.

Giuliani entered the presidential race in February and has become the favorite amongst Republicans to gain his party’s nomination. It was disclosed that Giuliani raised more than $10 million in March alone indicating that his campaign continues to gain momentum.

The campaign dollars will help Giuliani as he prepares to target early primary states for the 2008 presidential race.

On Sunday Democratic front-runner Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton revealed her campaign has raised nearly $26 million in the first three months of the year while Sen. John Edwards has brought in $14 million through contributions.
