The United Auto Workers plans to nominate top Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) negotiator Bob King to be the next president of the union, according to Associated Press.
Current UAW President Ron Gettelfinger is expected to nominate King on Wednesday at a meeting of local plant leaders, according to a person familiar with the process. The person requested anonymity because the announcement has not yet been made.
