Power company Ameren Corp. (NYSE: AEE) said on Friday that Stephen R. Wilson has been elected to its board, according to Associated Press.

Wilson, 61, is chairman, president, and CEO of CF Industries Holdings Inc. (NYSE: CF), which makes fertilizer. He has worked for CF Industries or its predecessor for 19 years, and has been CEO since 2003.
Ameren shares rose 84 cents, or 3.1 percent, to $27.82 at Friday’s close.
