NFL Scores: Peyton Manning Tosses 4 TDs as Indianapolis Colts Roll Past Denver Broncos to Remain Perfect

Peyton Manning shook off three interceptions and finished his day 20/42 passing for 220 yards and four touchdowns, Dallas Clark had five receptions with three of them going for TDs and Joseph Addai had 116 total yards as the Indianapolis Colts (13-0) stayed perfect on the year with a 28-16 win over the Denver Broncos (8-5) on Sunday.

Indianapolis dominated the first quarter as Manning tossed a 5-yard TD to Austin Collie and followed that with a 10-yard strike to Clark and the Colts carried a 14-0 advantage into the second. That lead was extended to 21-0 when Manning found Clark on a one-yard toss and Indy was rolling. Denver managed to put some points on the board just before the half though when Kyle Orton hit Brandon Marshall on a 5-yard touchdown pass the Broncos headed into the break trailing 21-7.

Both offenses struggled in the third quarter but the Broncos broke through in the fourth as Matt Prater pulled Denver to within 21-10 with a 28-yard field goal and then Orton and Marshall hooked up on another 5-yard touchdown to climb to within 21-16 with 9:44 left in the game. Manning ended the suspense though when he found Clark on a one-yard TD toss with 2:25 left to preserve the Colts perfect record.

Denver had more total yards and won the turnover battle but was just 6-17 on third down conversions and failed on three fourth down attempts.
