Pakistani Court Rules American Terror Suspects to Remain Held in Country

A Pakistani court has ruled that the five American terror suspects detained in Sargodha last week will remain in the country while their case is reviewed.

The decision temporarily blocks any attempt to have the men deported to the United States, a request that has yet to be made but could in the future. The five men are believed to have been involved in a possible plot to attack the U.S.

An investigation into the five men, all from Virginia, revealed ties to several militant groups in Pakistan. Their families reported the men missing last month after discovering video messages they recorded in which they called for the defense of Muslims.
