Lockheed Martin's Facility in Camden is Awarded Arkansas Corporate Recycler of the Year by Arkansas Recycling Coalition

The Arkansas Corporate Recycler of the Year award was given to Lockheed Martin's (NYSE: LMT) facility located in Camden, Arkansas. The award was given to the company by the Arkansas Recycling Coalition. The Arkansas Recycling Coalition contains over 200 companies, government agencies, nonprofit organization and individuals which are dedicated to promoting "Green" practices in Arkansas.

Camden Operations has recycled over 85% of their waste products and had reduced landfill waste by over 30%. Over 384 tons of waste has been diverting from the local landfill and 63,966 pounds of recycled materials are diverted on a regular basis.

 

Headquartered in Bethesda, Md., Lockheed Martin is a global security company that employs about 140,000 people worldwide and is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services.
