Just when Shandi Finnessey was heading in the right direction on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ the former Miss USA was sent packing by the voters. While it was no big surprise to anyone that Finnessey was eliminated she certainly wasn’t the least accomplished contestant on ‘Dancing.’
The same could be said for her companion in the bottom two, Leeza Gibbons. The former co-host of Entertainment Tonight and host of Extra was well received by the judges on Monday night’s show and had actually joined Heather Mills, Joey Fatone and Ian Ziering atop the scoring with a score of 24 out of 30.
While Clyde Drexler scored a 16 and John Ratzenberger totaled a 20 neither one was cast into the bottom two.
Neither Drexler or Ratzenberger have the hair of Sanjaya Malakar yet there seems to be some sort of ‘American Idol’ thing happening on ABC. Much like Malakar sings with impunity so the two men dance.
Finnessey can now rehash memories of her 'Dancing with the Stars' experience with supermodel Paulina Porizkova who was voted off in the first elimination.
