Peru Central Reserve Bank Says Inflation Expected to Rise

The Central Reserve Bank of Peru said the country’s benchmark inflation rate is anticipated to rise by 0.1% in December.

 

Bank president Julia Velarde said the annual inflation rate will likely be 0.14% to 0.15% in 2009. Velarde added inflation is expected to return to the central bank’s target range of 1.0% to 3.0% in 2010.
