Finance World News Update by EQUITIES Magazine

Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism said it expects the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Peru and China to be effective in the first quarter of 2010.

The agreement was ratified by Peru last week, though the agreement was signed on April 28 in Beijing. It needed ratification to be implemented.

The next step is the exchange of official letters for implementation.
