Gold Companies Drop in Tuesday Noon Trading

Several of America’s top gold companies saw decreases in Tuesday’s afternoon trading.

The following companies all rose by noon in trading:

Barrick Gold (NYSE: ABX) fell 42 cents, or 1.1 percent, to $39.48.

Gold Fields (NYSE: GFI) rose 26 cents, or 1.8 percent, to $13.96.

Goldcorp (NYSE: GG) rose 46 cents, or 1.1 percent, to $39.62.

Newmont Mining (NYSE: NEM) rose 68 cents, or 1.3 percent, to $50.89.
