Raj Rajaratnam, fouonder of hedge-fund firm Galleon Group and former New Castle Partners hedge-fund consultant, Danielle Chiesi were indicted in the now infamous $20 plus million insider-trading scheme on Tuesday.
The two were charged with a combined 17-count indictment with several counts of securities and conspiracy fraud against Rajaratnam.
Chiesi and Rajaratnam were arrested on Oct. 16 followingthe filing of criminal complaints. Mr. Rajaratnam maintains his innocence, crediting his researching skills for his enormous yields.
