Ecopetrol S.A. (NYSE: EC) has appointed Claudia L. Castellanos R. as VP of Supply and Marketing. She is the first women to reach an Executive VP position for Downstream activities at Ecopetrol. She will succeed Camilo Marulanda, who has been appointed VP of Strategy and Growth. Ms. Castellanos R. graduated from Universidad Industrial de Santander with a chemical engineering degree. She also obtained a specialization in Energy Resources Management from Universidad Autonoma de Bucaramange.
