In a conference call to reporters today, Doyle said he’s met with other leaders and company executives to discuss “building a good strong new economy in green energy and energy conservation.”
He added that Wisconsin has a great opportunity to base a significant part of its economy around jobs in water, wind energy and sustainable forestry. He also said that not transitioning away from dirty fuel sources will put the state at an economic disadvantage.
