Cincinnati Bengals Receiver Chris Henry Dies Following Fall from Truck

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry died Thursday morning, less than one day after falling from the back of a pickup truck driven by his fiancée.

According to reports Henry, 26, had been involved in a domestic dispute with is fiancée at a residence in Charlotte, N.C. She left the house and drove off but Henry jumped into the back of the truck and at some point fell from the vehicle. He found on a residential street about eight miles north of downtown Charlotte.

Henry suffered massive head injuries and was on life-support Wednesday evening but was not able to recover.

Henry had been away from the Bengals since breaking his forearm in a win over the Baltimore Ravens on Nov. 8. He had been spending in Charlotte where the family of his fiancée lives.
